The 2013 African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) was a prestigious event that took place in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital. Entertainers, African dignitaries, and filmmakers who attended the event appeared in the finest of attires! Her Excellency President Joyce Banda hosted the event. The award ceremony received entries from America, Canada, France, Germany, Guadalupe, Italy, Jamaica, and the UK. About 671 films were submitted for consideration.

We spotted several Nollywood superstars at the event and a few of them caught our attention. Rita Dominic, Queen Nwokoye, Yvonne Okoro, Lydia Forson, Ibinabo Fiberesima, and Chioma chukwuka Akpotha were among the list that appeared in stunning dresses.
